Dolores O’Riordan has passed away at age 46, her publicist has confirmed. The Cranberries singer was in London for a recording session when she reportedly died suddenly.

“Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time,” the publicist said, adding that no further details are available at this time.

The singer rose to worldwide popularity in the ‘90s, but was performing less in recent years due to severe back problems. She leaves behind three children: 20-year-old son Taylor, 16-year-old daughter Molly and 12-year-old daughter Dakota.
